"A drama lesson with Marit Solbu could one call this humorous one-act play which had its world wide premiere during The National Theatre of Norway’s Contemporary Stage Festival this autumn. The production seems to be more than a little inspired by Luigi Pirandello’s Six Characters in Search of an Author. With stage design also placed onstage (and outside) we count six. Playwright and instructor have developed the performance in close collaboration with the actors. She playfully examines the options for dialogue with the audience with a queer, humorous outlook on theatre and the art of acting. (...) The production turns out to be unpredictable, powerfully visual in all its costume richness, and, like I said, impeccably humorous. Here are confused actors standing stuck, with no clue what they are doing. They test the text in different ways, to declare that nothing works. A near imaginary examination of a text which doesn’t exist beyond small sequences and singular lines, demands much of the actors who almost wordlessly communicate with the audience."
