At the webpage of The National Stage the following, among other things, is written about Historien om et mord* (The story of a murder):

"You now have the chance to take part in something utterly unique. The National Stage takes the series format onstage, and invite you to experience a raw and entertaining thriller comedy in four parts, performed over four weeks. Each episode lasts for 45 minutes, and the excitement increases with each…

The actors performing the roles of Historien om et mord may be best known for being hysterically funny, but they now also provide us with some ice-cold shudders. We are invited into Katarina's world, in which we meet pretence, lies and desperation in combination with alcohol, sex, drugs and infidelity. The end will obviously be fatal…

(...)

Note: The last week of the run we do a bonus round, in which all episodes are performed the same evening."

Press coverage

Lillian Bikset, Komikrimkrønike med vekt på komikken (Comedy crime chronicle with emphasis on comedy), 25.11.2017, Dagbladet:

"Who, how and why will be revealed. The National Stage has performed one instalment every week for four weeks. Now, all four instalments have been united into one evening in the theatre, a binge format for feuilletons we know from the streaming era of TV series, but unusual in the theatre. The ensemble manages to keep the interest through all four episodes, but their main tool isn't tension, but comedy. (…) The murder, of Historien om et mord* (The Story of a Murder), doesn't take place in the first episode. Nor the second. The build-up lasts a long time. Regularly, new intrigues are added, and with that, new motives for murder, in something that becomes a modern melodrama with much meta-humour, theatrical genre games and imaginative digressions."
