About Partyreading (Fall 2008)
Partyreading (Fall 2008) in Det Åpne Teater (The Open Theatre) was a theatre party with Rasmus i trappen* (Rasmus in the Stairs) by Liv Heløe and Steps by Espen Dekko. Two new texts were presented for the audience, children and adults. Partyreading was part of the project Kunst for barn* (Art for Children), in collaboration between Det Åpne Teater (The Open Theatre) and The Norwegian Institute for Children's Literature.
Partyreading consisted of two brand new short texts, and the children were given the opportunity to participate in shaping stage design and props.

More about Partyreading (Fall 2008)
Rasmus i trappen* (Rasmus in the Stairs) by Liv Heløe:
Molefunken has a blue ball. When he goes to bed, he brings the ball along so it won't disappear while he is asleep. But one night the ball rolls by itself out of the bed and down the stairs. Molefunken awakens. Shall he dare to go down the dark stairs?
Steps by Espen Dekko:
Imagine it is your birthday. Imagine you are given a present the size of yourself. To know that underneath the paper there is something just for you. What it is? You'll never guess. Nor does the man in this story. But he is surprised, very surprised...
The actor in Steps by Espen Dekko was Jon Sigurd Kristensen and Anne Stray was responsible for the puppetry in Rasmus i trappen* (Rasmus in the Stairs) by Liv Heløe.
Kunst for barn and Partyreading (Fall 2008) was supported by Arts Council Norway.
