In the autumn program of BIT Teatergarasjen 2000 this is written about pre essens in kitch 1-7:

"Since 1999 the new Bergen-based company has taken use of the social and public rooms in a performance expression emphasising, and at times build on, observation and documentation. During 216T the five girls reveal their intimate spheres.

Pre essens lives in Teatergarasjen the whole week, serving their small canapé performances at different times during the event period. The constant presence of the girls makes the borders between private and public unclear. The dramaturgy will follow an organic structure, and they will eat, sleep and cover other fundamental primary needs."
