Halmstrået eller Teatersjefen som ble vekk* (The Straw or The disappeared head of the theatre) (1940) was a theatre production by The National Stage, based on a play by Finn Bø. This was a satire based on Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt. At The National Stage, the play was performed with some local additions. The production was performed in Ole Bull Teatret, as the auditorium and vestibule of The National Stage had been damaged in an air attack June 15, 1940.
Egil Hjorth-Jenssen directed it.
