In The Shoemaker Who Loved to Sing by Teater Sibylla the figures come out of the chest of drawers and with puppets and animations, newly composed music and traditional Jewish klezmer tunes they give life to an old Jewish fairytale.

Grandma Golde’s fairytales have been collected and retold by her grandchild, the writer Eva Scheer. The Shoemaker Who Loved to Sing is a theatre production for the whole family.

The Shoemaker Who Loved to Sing was written by Ivanir Hasson Olsen, artistic director of Cirkus Sibylla.
