The Dance of Death

The Dance of Death (1949) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre, based on the play by August Strindberg. The production was performed in the venue the theatre used at the time, in Stortingsgaten 16.

Agnes Mowinckel directed it.

Lars Tvinde and Tordis Maurstad played the roles of the married couple, Edgar and Alice.

The production was part of The Norwegian Theatre's celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of August Strindberg.

The Dance of Death also went on tour, during which 13 performances were given.
