Winding by Eilertsen & Granados Teaterkompani springs out from the eternal battle between good and evil. Through music, dance, comedy and poetic imagery the company embarks on a journey, bringing the audience along, in a world in which the impossible is possible and where good and evil revels in a physical and musical universe.
In winding stairs standing 3, 5 meters tall, rebuilt into a piano, an «angel» and a «devil» meet. They whirl each other around. Sometimes they lift each other and sometimes they can't get past each other. They take us up to heaven, or down to hell. Life is a song, note follows notes, until the song is over. In Winding life is a music-playing staircase, notes up, hell down. But what happens when an angel kills a little devil?
