Babette's Feast

Babette's Feast (2010) was a monologue theatre production by Thea Stabell. Babette's Feast was based on the short story by Karen Blixen, in a theatrical adaption by Thea Stabell. It was first performe at Malersalen, The National Theatre.

Terje Strømdahl directed it.

Thea Stabell performed the monologue. In 1999, she and Halldis Hoaas had adapted the story for The Arctic Theatre, at the time for a production with fourteen actors. Stabell also directed the 1999 production.

The monologue version of Babette's Feast was performed on tour, with performances in many different Norwegian venues. It also visited Burkina Faso.
