Jeppe of the Hill
Jeppe of the Hill (2001) was a signed language theatre production by Norsk Tegnspråkteater (now named Teater Manu). The production was based on the comedy by the same title by Ludvig Holberg. It went on tour in April and May 2011, with its tour opening at Danseteatret, Bergen April 20.
Magne Olav Brevik directed it.
Kevin (Kjell) E. Edvardsen played the title role
Kristin Fuglås Våge played the role of Nille.
Brynjulf Dammen played the role of the baron.

"Jeppe drinks, is beaten by Nille, fooled by Jacob the cobbler, 'hung' by the baron, cuckolded by the taxman, and has a difficult life.
Jeppe is going to town to buy soap.His money 'burns' in his pocket, the summer day is warm, and the beer sold by Jacob the cobbler foams. It turns out the way it had to turn out. He drinks until he is broke, forgets his errand, and falls asleep in a field. There, he is found by the baron and his men.And so the nightmare starts…"
