Peer Gynt

Peer Gynt (2006) was a sign-language theatre production by Teater Manu, based on the play by Henrik Ibsen. The production went on tour in March and April 2006, with its tour opening at Teater Manu's venue in Oslo March 16.

Bentein Baardson directed it. He had directed the same play for Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's TV drama division at an earlier time.

Swedish Lars Otterstedt interpreted the title role.

The production was part of the memoralisation 100 years after the death of Henrik Ibsen. It was also performed during The Ibsen Festival, at the time at The Norwegian Touring Theatre's facilities in Nydalen.
