"Thomas and Line are young. In love. But then Thomas is to go to Afghanistan. The mourning over the separation starts before he goes.
Thomas returns home unharmed. Everything is as it used to be and nothing will ever become the way it was.

"She - played by Ester Grenersen - is a teacher, a woman who hates war and loves a warrior. He - played by Jo Adrian Haavind - is the warrior. They are both main characters, each in their way. (...) The production switches between different levels of reality. Past is mixed with present, present with future. Used opportunities, lost opportunities and unused opportunities exist side by side. Memories and wishes change places. Which lines are speech and which lines are thoughts, which scenes are meant as realistic representation and which are meant as fantasies, flashbacks from the future or flashbacks to the past, are often open to interpretation."
