In God Hates Scandinavia: Sons of Liberty III by Sons of Liberty, we met Dracula and Ruccola, two dirty vampire whores living in the theme park Draculaland in Transylvania. They capture men and skin them in front of a paying audience. They have become a destination for pilgrims, because they haven’t just touched, but also eaten celebrities, and devoted fans now come streaming to touch them.

Our two heroines now want to hunt down a real star, and eventually they are tempted into a mysterious search for the holy girl. During the last couple of hours before doomsday, with bones broken they fight their way, leaving land desolate in a ferocious party, before they meet Amélie from Hell herself.

The independent group Sons of Liberty was established the spring of 2003 by Stina Kajaso and Lisa C. B. Lie, after graduating from The Norwegian Theatre Academy in Fredrikstad, Østfold College University. Post graduation they have worked with mutual projects as well as developing individual expressions. SOL uses fragments of literary texts and references to cartoons, movies and other popular culture as a foundation for scenic experiments and innovation.

Press coverage

Gärtner, Henning (07.04.2006). Review titled To blodige tomler opp! (literally: Two bloody thumbs up). Morgenbladet, morgenbladet.no, 24.11.2010, http://www.morgenbladet.no/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060407/OKULTUR/104070015:
"God loves Scandinavia. Lisa Lie and Stina Kajaso are women with balls and cunt power. They were granted attention in Black Box last year with Duell: Sons of Liberty II* (Duel: Sons of Liberty 2), and with their third production they rise to the barricades wearing PVC and leather, making way for Scandinavian sub-cultural theatre."
