Long Day's Journey into Night
Long Day's Journey into Night(1976) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre, based on the play by Eugene O'Neill. The production was performed in the theatre's mail stage, at the time located in Stortingsgaten, Oslo.
Tormod Skagestad directed it. He had directed the same play for the same theatre in 1961.
Rønnaug Alten played the role of Mary Tyrone.
Gisle Straume played the role of James Tyrone.
Bjørn Floberg and Bjørn Skagestad played the roles of the sons Jamie and Edmund.
Long Day's Journey into Night was also performed on tour with The Norwegian Touring Theatre the fall of 1977, during which 28 performances were given. The production also visited The National Stage in Bergen and Rogaland Theatre in Stavanger.
