The theme behind Desconocida Inconnue Ukjent, murder and violence against women, requires a sensitivity, which Runa Rebne possesses in her expression of movements. In the choreography of Ukjent, Runa Rebne's movements find a correlation with Lise Bjørne Linnert's direct use of voice.

Rebne has developed a set of movements as ground for the choreography. Each performance is individually worked out according to the current exhibiting space and its qualities. The voice is in similar ways, adapted from a set of ground structures, to work with the current movements and the space.

Ukjent by Runa Rebne and Lise Bjørne Linnert was supported by The Audio Visual Fund and the Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs/MFA (travel grant/performing arts).

The words of the title Desconocida Unknown Ukjent all mean Unknown, in Spanish, English and Norwegian respectively. Inconnue is the French word for the same.
