All your wrong fascinating poisonous delightful theories by De Utvalgte, Salvatore, Teater Laika & Ensemble 2000 in collaboration with Norsk Form opened November 30 2000, 100 years after Oscar Wilde's death to the day.

The Picture of Dorian Gray was to become Oscar Wilde's perhaps most important and literally most fateful work. The enticement of the two way mirror of a novel laid in the enormously precise description of a near endless spectre of issues almost too easily connected to our contemporary time: The senseless desire for beauty and perfection. The sick urge to feel comfortable. Drowning in luxury and laziness. The human who only lives through the eyes of the other. Etc, etc.

All your wrong fascinating poisonous delightful theories was the result of extensive cooperation between the Norwegian theatre company De Utvalgte and the Danish contemporary music ensemble Ensemble 2000, Swedish Teater Laika, the rock band Salvatore and the design competence centre Norsk Form.

As the location for the day the project had chosen Villa Stenersen, the gem of the National sausage, donated to the Norwegian state by Rolf Stenersen and meant to be used as a home for the Prime Minister. All of the Norwegian Prime Ministers except for one (Odvar Nordli) has refused to move in. The extravagant functionalist villa, in design said to be equivalent to the Norwegian Royal Castle, was the backdrop for an evening of light entertainment and seducing conversation - served on a bed of rotting secrets.

The production was performed for sold-out houses seven times during four days.

The arrangers want to thank Juri Alschitz, Nicolay Amble, Line Bergseth, Tove Bratten, Sealife, Svanhild Dvergsstad, Maria Fridh, Jon Gunnar Hakason, Peter S. Helleday, Hilda Hellwis, Anne Holtan, Ingvar Holtan, Martin Krafft, Igor Meyer, Motherboard, Cathrine Myhre, Pioneer Norge, Gita Sellman, Johnny Söderberg, Verdensteatret, Anne Berit Vestby and Sylvia Wahlöö.
