More

Leire* (Clay) by Figurfantastene is the result of two artists’ search for the basic roots of the craft. They have removed all the stage lights, effects and large venues. What are left are a musician and his instruments and a puppeteer and a lump of clay. The production takes shape in collaboration with the audience. Together artists and audience explore the lump's possibilities come to playing, life and animation. Everything is commented by the instruments.

Leire was produced in 2000, when it toured with Concerts Norway. Since then it has travelled performing about 100 times a year in schools around Norway. It is appropriate for kids aged 6-10.

*Not yet translated into English. The title within parentheses is the Norwegian title's literal meaning.
