BallRom* ("BallRoom") was half machine and half sculpture. An art theorist may have called it an installation. Sometimes it worked, and then the balls moved like they should through the machine, but more often than not, it didn't work. However, not only Agnes and Knut related to balls, other strange characters showed up too.

Press coverage

BallRom* (BallRoom) is the kind of performance speaking first and foremost with a playful poetical language. A stage language Levende Dukker has extensive experience in and a firm grip around. The group does not make pedagogical performances or fairytale plays, but creates ambiguous universes encouraging childish wonder. Levende Dukker’s productions in general and BallRom in particular work as a liberating counterpart to the strong reality and fairytale tradition of Norwegian children’s theatre. "Laughter was loose among the children at the first stop of Agnes Schou and Knut Alfsen’s tour, the church locale at Skjee. Funny, good and nonsensical was among the characteristics the children used after the show was over." Øyvind Skavhellen. (2008, 19.08) Tønsbergs Blad.
