BIG BAG

In BIG BAG – The Great Mystery by Ekhougen&Bjørndalen produksjoner AKA EB Produksjoner the music was performed live by the band Enmesher in collaboration with DJ Kiss. The diverse characters of the performance were interpreted by Rasmus Jørgensen, Per Willy Aaserud and Cathrine Bjørndalen, in what is described in the following manner in the webpage of Cathrine Bjørndalen:

"BIG BAG is The Great Mystery of existential and psychological fundamental pieces such as time and construction, manipulation, consciousness, disguise and singularity. BIG BAG is a theatre composition outside of a predictable mould; an experimental horror pop noir performance told with a genre robbing, fresh stage language in which the visual as well and the auditory are central narrative elements.

In a closed chocolate factory in Rodeløkka in Oslo EB produksjoner has conjured a pre-apocalyptic universe filled with secret passages, sliding walls and fake doors where seemingly lost characters take shape of existential investigators, disco detectives and ghosts on cryptic assignments. Invariably connected to symbioses and dissolution processes the aim is to survive. Forever. Find and have a meaning. The city is persevering, surrounding, and the bag is loaded with human makeup. Inspirations and references to the expression and content for the production have been found in German expressionism, film noir, surrealism, super massive black holes and increasingly supersized commercial packaging, promising the consumer even more content."
