The Norwegian Institute for Children's Literature is a national information and documentation centre working with literature for children and youth. The institute runs a professional research library, manages a writing academy and manages research and presentation of literature.
The Norwegian Institute for Children's Literature is at disposal for anyone concerned with the characteristic features and signification of literature for children, and is used actively by teachers, librarians and researchers plus critics, journalists, publishing houses and illustrators.
The institute is located in the upper floor of The National Library’s building in Solli Plass in Oslo.
