CINARS

CINARS is a Canadian not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to promote and support the export of the performing arts. CINARS is based in Montreal, and its main objectives are:

To encourage cultural creations emerging from the performing arts sector.

To promote commercial discussions between organisations specialising in production and those specialising in show presentation.

To make Montreal a worldwide hub of performance art networking.

CINARS arranges the CINARS Biennale in Montreal, with a history running back to 1984.

CINARS also promotes performing arts through co-production and organising showcases of Canadian performing arts outside of Canada.

In addition CINARS work to provide artists and agents with seminars for professional development, as well as targeted workshops on skills needed to organise international tours. The organisation is available for consulting services for touring companies all year long.
