Dario Fo

Dario Fo (1926-2016) was an Italian playwright, actor, composer and theatre director, the recipient of The Nobel Prize in Literature in 1997. He was married to and collaborated closely with Franca Rame.

In Norway, Dario Fo is best known for his satirical plays of a political and social character. Among the plays of his that have been performed in Norway one may mention The Accidental Death of an Anarchist and Can't Pay? Won't Pay!.
