Maja Solveig Kjelstrup Ratkje

Maja Ratkje plays and sings in the improvisation band SPUNK, which has existed from 1995, and in the performance trio Agrare. Ratkje has written music for orchestras and ensembles, electronic and acoustic, sound installations and scenic music. She often travels the world with her music, as a performer, improvisation artist and composer.
Maja Ratkje got the Edvard award in the category for contemporary music – smaller works for Waves II b in 1999 and in the open category for No Title Performance and Sparkling Water in 2004.
